The Return

You are invited to join a small group of spiritual seekers on a two week journey to northern India with Sara Ruffin and Katya Zahara.

The intention behind The Return is to experience the beauty and magic of India. This trip will be invite only for a small group of seekers.

Trip Overview

  • Approximately 2 weeks, beginning on March 18th and ending April 3rd. There is an option to extend the trip for an additional week.

  • Shared rooms with room for two, or solo room at an additional cost.

  • This trip is open to 12 spiritual seekers that want to experience India. Whether you are seeking a solo travel adventure or want to bring your best travel buddy, we got you. We will thoughtfully pair you with a roommate if you choose to share a room.

Delhi

In Delhi, we begin in the heart of a living, breathing universe. Here, the ancient coexists with the modern: the Red Fort whispers of empires long gone, while Lodi Gardens cradle morning meditations. The city is large, busy and full of life with five star accomodations. Our first few days will include a gentle transition visiting remarkable temples and local businesses. The city of Delhi and surrounding temples will be vibrant with color and cheer this time of year as we will be arriving right before Holi, the vibrant Hindu "Festival of Colors" celebrating spring, love, and the triumph of good over evil.

We will arrange to meet for the start of our trip on March 18th. If you would like to arrive a day early to beat the jet-lag, we can arrange for an earlier arrival and one night at hotel.

Jaipur

Jaipur, the Pink City, invites us into a realm of royal grace. Also known for its rich history of textiles, Jaipur is an unforgettable part Rajasthan, and will be our second stop on our trip to India. The city is known for the amber glow of Hawa Mahal, as well as the stillness of the step wells. In the evening, we will enjoy the vibrant city and the desert breeze as we prepare to celebrate Holi, a festival of color, unity, and rebirth.

We plan to spend Holi in Jaipur and are certain it will be a once in a lifetime memory.

Varanasi

Varanasi, the city that lingers on the edge of the Gangas river, is ancient beyond measure. The city left such a lasting impact during my first visit to India, that I centered our return on this city that was once described by Mark Twain as “older than old”. This destination will contain a significant spiritual aspect of our journey. We will begin with arti on the river, and spend a morning on the river for kirtan and sunrise.

In Varanasi, you will experience another universe as we walk the ghats as dawn breaks, the Ganges shimmering like a living mantra. This city, ancient beyond measure, holds us in a cycle of letting go and renewal, where each step brings us closer to the infinite.

Rishikesh

Finally, in Rishikesh, we will end our journey in the home of spiritual richness and yogic history in the northern mountains of thThe Himalayas. The sacred river Ganga will hold us and carry our intentions as we end our journey.

Delhi

March 18th - March 20

We will arrive in Delhi on or before March 18th, just in time for Holi.

Jaipur

March 20 - March 23

We will celebrate Holi, the festival of color, in the Pink City.

Varanasi
